How to Watch Veoh Outside the US – VPNfreedom
So a couple of years ago – in 2008 to be more precise Veoh restricted access to their site to the US only. This meant that all of us who loved the content on Veoh and found ourselves outside of the US were left out in the cold. Unless you knew about this trick I am about to tell you of course.
See the thing is that Veoh, like most other sites, will use a very simple technique to determine if you are in the US or in Europe, Asia or somewhere else outside the US borders. What they do is look at your IP address. If you don’t know what that is don’t worry – basically it is a unique number that your computer needs to communicate online. The good thing is that we can do a little trick to obtain an IP address located in the US.

So in order to get a US IP address we need to do a little trick that involves VPN, which stands for Virtual Private Network. It sounds very technical but don’t worry about that – it is actually a really simple thing to use. A VPN connection will connect you to a server located in the US and this server will in turn act as a middleman between you and Veoh. Since Veoh wont “see” anything else than the middleman you can now stream away like crazy. Pretty cool huh?
