I have a bunch of sock brands that I wear but these are far different from any that I have. The top part of the foot is breathable while the toe and heel are reinforced and seem like they’ll be resistant to blow-out. Once riding you barely notice them (in a good way). Looking forward to more rides on them.

Although I am a Ducks Unlimited member, I was disappointed with the quality. They are very thin with little material. I can tell they will rip easy and are not as warm. The pictures show my grey pair from a different provider that are much thicker and more durable. The tan ones are the DU pair and you can clearly see my skin through the material because they are soooooo thin ☹️ The two individual pictures are of the fabric on both as a comparison. I returned them and will buy something else as there are much better quality on the market. I gave a star as they are inexpensive.

Comfortable, and easily stretches to if you work in the cold at least several pair because next Winter may be worse than the last February 5-day power outage here in Texas. (No, I doubt everything will be winterized in Texas in time, and I say the chances of it all happening again, but even **worse**, are far too great. )These are a great preparation for the cold, and you may not be able to get them just before Winter, so I recommend you go ahead and get them now.
