You can currently block up to 2000 people on your contact list. Though rare, if you want to block more users than that you will have to clear out some older blocked names.
You can also block a person on by reporting them if they indeed acted inappropriately towards you. This is done by clicking the 3 dot icon on the user’s profile and then clicking ‘Report’. The report will be totally anonymous and Match will investigate the report and take appropriate action. The person should be permanently blocked if the charge is warranted.
When you block someone on you may not want to see that user appear on any of your search results. This can be done by removing the profile on any of your search results through the following process:
1. Open the profile of the user you do not want to see in your search results
2. Click the 3 dot icon at the top of the profile page
3. Select ‘Hide from search’ and click
If you are using Match’s app, you may remove the profile from the search list without opening their profile. Click ‘Remove’ or ‘Delete from list’ on the profile when they appear on your search results.
Unblocking someone on

yes, you can block any user on button appears on your profile, at the bottom of the overthe block button, select the block button and you are send customer service a mesgand they will do this for you. can also unblock a luck

Really confused, match dating site doesn’t answer the question, was wondering if anyone could shed light on this? If I have been blacklisted how can I still wink at them, and in return them me. It says in March you can’t do that…… however I know I’ve been blocked as it states when I try and message him….

There is more to it than that. We chatted for ages and distance was putting him off3 times he backed out of meeting up. Two times he carried on chatting. The last time I told him he would have to blacklist me as it was too tempting to not drop him a line. So he seemed genuinely nice. However we have been winking at each other now every day for three weeks…. he’s also changed his profile and included stuff that I said??? I know I’m probably acting a bit sad and I know I would be saying the same if it was the other way round, but it’s driving me crazy…. I have talked nd even gone on a date with someone else, but I made myself do that really…. I think I need to just suspend my account and stop being a saddo… thinking it’s something out of mills and boon book. Just good to not feel alone I suppose

I know that from my extensive blocking of people on there! And from the occasions when I didn’t behave as I ‘ought to’ and found myself blocked by them

This is Match? On PoF, people still show up in searches if blocked, you just can’t contact them. On Match, they don’t show any more but you can search for them by username. So if he blocked you it means he’s searching you by username, in which case he will be able to find you, and sending the winks it will only be to mess with your head, so ignore doing odd stuff on online dating is someone to be ignored. There’s a lot of push/pull in this which is, I’m sorry to say, not because he is in love and hopes he can be with you. He’s playing with you. And not in a nice way.
