There is always that possibility of shutting down, especially with NA server due people not wanting to play it cuz it’s “dead” and thus moved to SEA, which contributes to the problem. As long as NA can find players that can keep it alive via whaling, then it can last for a while. However, I don’t think it should discourage you to play a game especially if you enjoy if the case where ED does end up shutting NA server down, it will most likely sell its rights to another hosting entity. Just like when Nexon bailed and ED took ‘s statistic is not accurate as a majority of players uses the actual ED client and not VIA Steam, because they want to use mods and voice packet and such. Steam does not let you use those it a try:)
World of Dragon Nest will shut down on 31st March
Mobile MMORPG World of Dragon Nest announced through its Facebook page that the game will shut down its services on 31st March 2021.
Apparently, according to the Facebook post, World of Dragon Nest will shut down due to the ending of developer Eyedentity’s contract.
On 8th March 2021, at 10:00 am GMT + 7, players will no longer be able to purchase Blue Diamonds, the game’s premium currency. Players cannot top-up Blue Diamonds within the app or through the website past that time.
On 31st March 2021, at 10:00 am GMT + 7, the game’s servers will end. World of Dragon Nest‘s customer support channel will also close. Furthermore, the game will no longer be available for download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Besides that, between 1st March – 30th March 2021, the game will give out the following items to players who log in as a farewell gift.

Wing Costume Ticket x 10
Chair Costume Ticket x 10
Mount Ticket x 10
Protection Jelly x 100
In addition, Event Hot Time will take place. There will be a 200% increase in Gold, Exp and item drop rates in every area, Dungeon Nest and Nest Hell.

Dragon Nest is set in the world of Altera, which is a realm of high magic and fantasy creatures. The Nests are the main endgame dungeons, which house powerful monstrous entities. Aside from dragons, the Nests in Altera include the Minotaur Nest, Cerberus Nest, Titan Nest, and many others.
Players in Dragon Nest enter the game by creating a character from one of 9 starter classes: Assassin, Academic, Kali, Warrior, Cleric, Lancea, Machina, Sorceress, and Archer. From these starter classes, players would later choose secondary and tertiary branching classes. For instance, a Warrior can become either a Swordsman or a Mercenary. A Swordsman can later become a Gladiator and progress to Moonlord. On the other hand, the Mercenary can become a Barbarian and, later, a Destroyer.
