Tinder doesn’t let you swipe and swipe forever. They put a cap on how many Likes you can give in a 12-hour period.
When Tinder first started doing this, you had 120 Likes per 12 hours. Then they decreased it to 100. Now it appears to be even lower than that for most users.
If you’re a guy, for instance, you’re probably getting more like 50 Likes per 12 hours. And if you’ve been guilty of right-swiping on everyone, it may be even less. All in all, it varies user-to-user.

But should you pay to upgrade? No. Here’s why.
Most people who are unhappy with the free version of Tinder are getting barely any matches. And the paid version of Tinder doesn’t do anything to help you get more matches.
The paid version will show your profile to more people. But if the people already seeing your profiles aren’t Liking it, that means it’s no good.
If you show a bad profile to more people, that doesn’t guarantee matches. It just means more people will see (and probably reject) that bad profile.
So if you’re barely getting any matches with Tinder’s free version, start running your Tinder pics through Photofeeler to find out if they’re any good and/or what you can change.
By changing up your pics, you can easily multiply your match rate. Then you can even think about upgrading Tinder.

New features include the option to “rewind” or unswipe someone they didn’t mean to pass on and the ability to match with people around the country instead of one geographic location.
