Reddit Best Proxy Server

What’s a good Proxy Server? : r/homelab – Reddit

I’m a Systems Engineer. I look after domains, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, I say I’m looking for a decent proxy solution that doesn’t require 8+ hours of getting the damn thing to just proxy, then that’s what I’m looking for. I have no problem with learning something. I have a problem with software so damn fucking convoluted that you need to spend way too much time on it, to get it to I tried to get Squid working, I literally had the damn thing installed in less than an hour, then spent the next 7 hours, just trying to get it to do it’s fucking job! I’m not stupid people, really, I’m not. I’ve setup an entire Skype For Business solution, complete with reverse proxy and integrated with our phone system without issue. I’ve installed Exchange 2016 from scratch, and setup in a DAG config, without canned consumer routers from Asus, Netgear, and other routers are shit-tastic pieces of shit and does not allow for the functionality a proxy server gives.

Hey, I have been working with Squid in the past last year and now I am looking to scale further and I have been thinking of swapping Squid for some other proxy software, I wanted to ask for some advice from more experienced are my needs:No need for caching at able to set multiple outgoing NICs based on ports (User X / IP X goes out from ethX, User Y / IP Y goes out from ethY) (Same as tcp_outgoing_address in Squid) able to change users / whitelisted IPs pport listening on multiple pport for HTTP2. 0 / SOCKS etc is an advantage but not a able to dynamically plug network interfaces in and traffic logs, with the ability to view post headers as supports most of those points but #5, but it is becoming a bit of a proxy server is reliable, fast, and supports these points in your experience? Thanks a lot.

We are currently looking into running a proxy server for a customer on-premiseThe main goal would be traffic logging from a terminal server, so we can monitor (not block) which sites the users visit. Our firewall sadly can’t log the different users since they come from the same source IP. Basically it should be able to log “domain\user visited The server can be relatively small, around 50 users at the eferably we would like to run it directly as a virtual appliance on the vmware cluster they already doesn’t need to have any kind of content filteringOh and did I mention that, of course, the customer would rather not pay licensing fees, so preferably you guys have any recommendations?
