Configuring proxies - Puppet

Configuring proxies – Puppet

Code Manager has its own set of proxy configuration options which
you can use to set a proxy for connections to the Git server
or the Forge. These settings are unaffected by the proxy
settings in,
because Code Manager is run by Puppet Server.
Note: To set a proxy for Code Manager
connections, you must use an HTTP URL for your r10k
remote and for all Puppetfile module entries.
Use a proxy for all HTTP connections, including both Git and the Forge, when
configuring Code Manager.
To configure Code Manager to use a proxy using Hiera, add the
following code to your default and specify your proxy name. For
example:
puppet_enterprise::profile::master::r10k_proxy: ”
Tip: To test proxy connections to Git or the
Forge, run one of these commands_proxy_uri=”
uri=”
curl –proxy “$proxy_uri” –head “$uri”
proxy_uri=”
See Usage notes
for curl examples for information about forming curl commands.
For detailed information about configuring proxies for Code Manager traffic, see the Code Manager documentation.

Hey guys.
My friend is trying to join my Minecraft PE server. We arn’t on the same network, so we were directed to this proxy software, by shoghicp.
I am hosting the server from my computer using his PocketMine server software and I can join the server fine (because I’m on the network that is hosting it)
I am using this software to host.
How does my friend join? He too has the software, both PocketMine and the proxy.
What does he have to do to join my game? How do we run the proxy?
I can’t find an to click to activate the proxy.
Please help.
Thanks.

The proxy is written in Javascript and requires to run.
downloads:
Then, it appears that, after installing, you open a command prompt, cd into where you saved the proxy files
for example:cd C:\Users\banana\Downloads\asdf\stuff\proxy
then run npm install to install everything the proxy needs to function:npm install
and finally start the proxy:node –serverip (your actual external IP)

Thanks, do you know how to stop the proxy? Will simply closing the cmd window stop it?
Thanks again.
#5
Closing the CMD will kill it – it shouldn’t hurt it. Force-closing it by pressing Ctrl+C in the cmd also works.
If you did Ctrl-C, it should print out:Shutting down proxy.
and exit.
