Stand on one leg in a corner of a room with no lights for 12 seconds. Then go outside and draw a operator symbol with chalk, then sit down in the middle. Wait until you have had a good long look at your priorities and aims in life. If you still want to become a Proxy, repeat.

So true really if Slenderman was real then from what I’ve seen is if you become a proxy he starts by killing every one and thing you love, slowly turning you into a shell of you former self, also you will have the side effects of coughing up blood which appears very excruciating, after about 2 months or so you’ll be dead inside literally you’ll loose your mind and have no consciousness whatsoever (keep in mind I watch all the ARG’s so this is nearly garunteed) do you really want that?
Don’t forget you’ll get sigma radiation also

Then they start thinking:”Hmm, how could I become part of something cool and creepypasta? “. For them becoming a proxy is the easiest way to get transferred from normal human being to “special”, so they don’t really care about how it would actually be if they would be a proxy, and all they care about is being “special” and “accepted by the creepypastas”.

Which shows complete lack of understanding of creepypastas. Creepypastas aren’t the characters, they’re the stories.

Well, I have to confess, I think of my life as boring. But seriously, these days it wouldn’t make me special to deactivate my brain and to follow some guy I should be afraid of.

I was always scared of Slenderman and of this proxy idea and how some people really liked to think they were proxies, but the fact that somebody REALLY TRIED to become a proxy of slenderman made me feel like my nightmares came to reality. I don’t believe in slenderman, of course, but I was so terrified when I heard the news. As I said, I already was aware of creepypasta fans wanting to become proxies, but I thought it was just a sick game, and nothing will happen. I think the parents of the children should have been aware of what their kids watched, maybe they could have explained things to them?

Become a proxy(what will happen if you become one) – Wattpad
Step 1 Get noticed and stalked by the slenderman. You will see Slenderman basically ever where you go as if he is following you. The reason he does this is either a: he is curious about you, B: Hes seeing if you are worthy or good enough for the job, or c: He wants to drive you insane and/or kill you. This “stalking” time varies. In some cases it is a few months, a lot of months, a year, or even many years. During this time you will also get really bad head aches, fear, and paranoia. You will also get what is referred to as Slender Sickness. The symptoms of slender sickness are; coughing fits, coughing up blood, occasional nausea, paranoia, vomitting, and extreme exhaustion. Many have also had bloody noses, fever, and sometimes amnesia as well as deja vu, painful breathing, difficulty in swallowing, and violent convulsions. If he likes what he sees and you have proven yourself. You will most likly move on to step two unless he’s been doing step one to kill you. step 2: Slenderman will reveal himself to you and have a chat with you. He will tell you of his plans for you to work for him/ be a proxy. If you say no to his request, he will kill you. If you say yes, will black out and wake up safely at your house. It is un know if slenderman takes you there or you walk there your self. Step 3 (interchangeable with step 4): Second meeting. Getting your mark. Little known fact; slenderman puts a scar on his proxies to identify them as a proxy. Step 4 (interchangeable with step 3: Getting used to slenderman and the slender sickness. Eventually the extreme paranoia and fear turns in a feeling of comfort. You will be able to interact and be near slenderman with out having any of the horrible slender sickness symptoms minus amnesia and black outs which will still occur even when your a proxy. Step 5: The strange habits/urges phase. The weird urge to draw the operator symbol, and eventually doing it without thinking and out of nowhere. It is near imposable to stop your self. your muscles will control themselves and do it against your will. strange habit number two is walking in the woods everyday against you will and the strange urge to be outside more often. step 6: After getting your mark you are now technically a proxy, but I don’t really count some one as being a proxy until you get to this point. Being able to communicate with slenderman in your head and hear his voice with out it hurting you. For those that don’t know, Slenderman communicates through thought. Technician Proxy | National CPS Certification
Technician proxies can review and approve seat checks for recertification. We created this role to help bridge the gap in parts of the country where there are few certified instructors. Once approved as a technician proxy, you will remain one until your CPS certification expires. Being a technician proxy is not associated with being a Senior Checker.
Anyone who has been CPS-certified for at least six months may apply to be a technician proxy. When you are eligible to apply, you will see the action item “Apply to be a Technician Proxy” in your CPS online profile.
Once approved, your status will continue to be “Certified Technician” but you will see “Extra Training: Technician Proxy” in your online profile.
How to Become a Technician Proxy
There are two steps to becoming a technician proxy:
Submit a complete application, along with a total of two testimonials. The application is available on this website under Resources/Forms.
Pay the $25 fee.
Along with your application, you will need to include signed testimonials from one certified instructor and a technician or second instructor.
Each testimonial is to be completed following the Instructor or Technician’s observation as you conduct at least three real (not mock) seat checks with caregivers and at least 2 seat checks working with other Technicians as a senior/final checker. They will use these observations to evaluate your readiness and ability to (1) provide suitable and appropriate feedback and (2) pass and fail seat checks appropriately.
