INSTALLATION
STEP 1
GET THE ELSWORD DOWNLOADER
Go to Media Section and click Download Game button to save the file. Click the file to “Run” and start downloading the game client using the Elsword Game Installer.
STEP 2
COMPLETE THE DOWNLOAD
Once the downloader completes downloading Elsword, click ‘Open. ’ This will automatically start the installation process.
STEP 3
CONFIRM THE FOLDER DESTINATION
Confirm the folder destination where Elsword should be installed. Click ‘Next’ to continue.
STEP 4
INSTALL THE GAME
Click ‘Install’ to begin installation.
STEP 5
FINISH INSTALLING THE GAME
Press ‘Finish’ when the game has been fully installed.

Each time you launch Elsword Online on your computer, the game client checks the latest version and updates automatically. However, you might sometimes encounter errors that prevent your game from downloading the latest content or running properly after an update. In this case, manually installing the patch may solve the issue. On this page, you can find instructions on how to run the manual patch for the Elsword client as well as the separate update for Xigncode.
Good to Know: If you’re looking to run the manual patch, it would be useful to first find the folder where Elsword is installed in your computer. It is pre-set to C:\KOGGAMES\Elsword unless you changed it during the initial installation. Note that the default client directory is different when downloading from Steam, Arc, or Aeria:

1. Go to the Media section and click the Manual Patch Download button.
2. Once the manual patch download is done, open the folder where you downloaded it. (Check your Downloads folder. ) Double-click the Elsword Client Manual Patch application or right-click then choose Open.
3. The WinRAR self-extracting archive window will appear. Set the destination folder—it should be the same as the game client folder, which is set to C:\KOGGAMES\Elsword by default. If you pre-set it to another drive or folder, click browse and locate the Elsword client folder. Otherwise, click Install to proceed.
Note: Choose ‘Yes to All’ when you are asked to confirm file replacement.
4. Once installation is done, run and enjoy the game!

1. Go to the Media section and click the Xigncode Manual Patch Download button.
2. Once the Xigncode manual patch download is done, open the folder where you downloaded it. ) Double-click the Xigncode Manual Patch application or right click then choose Open.
