How do I sign up for a Reddit account?
Signing up for Reddit is slightly different depending on what platform you’re on:
On
Go to and click Sign Up in the top right corner or your screen.
From there, you can choose to sign up with your Google account or Apple ID by clicking the Continue with Google or Continue with Apple buttons, or with your email address by entering your address and clicking Continue.
On the iOS or Android app:
Tap Sign up/Log in.
From there, you can choose to sign up with your Google account or Apple ID by clicking the Continue with Google or Continue with Apple buttons, or with your email address by clicking Continue with Email.
If you sign up with your Google account or Apple ID, you’ll be assigned a random username and will have 30 days to change your username before your assigned one becomes final.
If you sign up with your email address, you’ll be asked to create a username and password to use as your login information.
And please note, as per Reddit’s User Agreement, to make a Reddit account, you must be at least 13 years old or, if you’re outside the U. S., over the age required by the laws of your country.
