Fraud! Be aware!
They just steal outdated data from LinkedIn and a couple of other sources. Made the mistake to use their premium service once, pure scam and they never get back in their emails. Just keep reporting them until we shut them down for good!

Inaccurate data published without consent
They publish and sell outdated, therefore inaccurate data from my LinkedIn profile – without consent. Of course, I made use of the Opt-out Form. “My profile will be deleted within 30 (! ) days“. Disgraceful.
Repetitve Theft of Data
Same as other reviews. Using old / stolen data, no way to remove (system flawed) and copy / paste generic response before they stop responding. Under GDPR this would fall under “intentional”

This company acquired my stolen personal information from a Linkedin data leak and published it on their website without my consent. The process of opting out took a mmunication was terrible. When I asked how they acquired my personal information, they copypasted and mailed me this message: “ContactOut sources contact information by scraping information from the public internet in a similar manner to other search engine like Google. Sites include, forums, blogs, social media profiles, and other websites. Because you have made your contact data publicly available on the internet, there is implied consent that you are open to receive communications. “After sending this, they stopped replying to my emails. So I reported them to the San Francisco police. The same day I reported them, my unwanted profile was deleted. Coincidence? I suggest reporting data theft to the police.

Stealing personal private photos and data for money, refuses to take down old private photos of myself, nobody makes an honest living anymore, this whole world is a scam and politicians clearly have no interest in protecting anybody anymore.

Fraudsters. Using my data with out my concern. Even after complained so many times, yes So many times by internal form as well as email, I didn’t receive any response also my data hasn’t removed. I escalated it to finally the case got resolved all removed. All it took just 5 months.

Old info!
Same as the other repliers here: no explicit consent required, which is one thing. The thing that really bothers me is that it is using (very) old data of mine! A description I once made and now don’t endorse anymore! I was/am considering a request for opt out, and got a warning that it might not work and be even more a signal of them to continue with my data!

These folks are ugly sleezebags
These folks are ugly sleezebags. They claim to opt-out, but at least for me it does nothing at all. Even if it did, I’d worry that they’d take this as a signal that they have a real person. I’m horrified with the personal info they are collating, sharing and selling without any user consent.
Why is this legal
Why is this legal? I would understand if this was only accessible to recruitment or other accredited professionals, but any random person can google my name and find old info about me. Someone please take this down.

The purpose of processing
The purpose of the Service is to connect recruiters with job candidates by providing contact
information, and conversely, to inform people about job opportunities that they may be interested in.

The Service only provides contact information in low volume for the purpose of individual and customized

Categories of data obtained
The Service obtains email addresses, phone numbers. For the purposes of matching contact information to
a social profile we also obtain other publicly available social media information such as usernames,
profile urls, profile picture, first and last name, address, and profile description. All information is
obtained from public sources on the internet such as forums, blogs, social media sites, and other
websites. Personal data is retained for a period of 6 months before being updated or deleted if no
longer required.

The Service shares personal data with our clients who are recruiters or people who use the data for
recruitment purposes.

The right to access – You have the right to request copies of your personal data.
The right to rectification – You have the right to request that we correct any information you
believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request us to complete the information you believe
